We have four outcomes regarding viewing a flick. We want them to be simple and useful.
- must see The film is well worth the believer's time and attention because it satisfies well most if not all of the six criteria we use to judge this. It makes a compelling statement about the human condition that's compatible with the Biblical worldview.
- see The film is worth the believer's time and attention. It's not compelling as judged by our six criteria, but it's engaging enough to provoke thought about the human condition. It's not incompatible with the Biblical worldview.
- neutral The film provides at best a modestly entertaining distraction. It doesn't misinform about the human condition and the nature of our fallen world, but it hasn't much useful to say about these matters.
- no The film depicts a worldview that's different from or flat out contradicts the Biblical worldview. Or it may be hostile to and openly attack the Biblical worldview.
These 11 flicks are examples of 'must see' films in our book. Strongly compatible with a Biblical worldview and illustrate well the truth of Scripture and Biblical values. Enjoy.
